10/2/2012 19:25:22 Twilight7fire I'm an expert horse rider and trainer. My specialities include tricktraining and other forms of show training, such as trickriding, stunt riding and working with horses & fire (or other 'scary' things). As far as horses go, I'm also an expert in the historical art of riding & mounted combat. I practice jousting, melee combat, rossfechten etc. on horseback. I have experience with several time periods and weaponry on horseback. My main areas of expertise are 15th century (Late Middle Ages) and late 18th/early 19th century (Napoleonic wars), but you can ask me about any sort of horse-related questions, from Antiquity up to modern day riding. Apart from mounted combat, I have a lot of general historical knowledge (comes with being a multi-period living history aficionado). I have some knowledge of historical martial arts (and definitely know people who know this stuff very well, so I can redirect your questions), loads of knowledge and experience with full plate armour and I know the inns&outs of everyday life of several historical eras. As a hobby I also practice historical cooking. I’m currently doing a Master in English literature, so I am reasonably knowledgeable about historical literature as well. Specialities include 19th century and 14/15th century literature. I am reasonably well informed about Old and Middle English and have some knowledge of medieval (Gothic) scripts & manuscripts. I have done some academic research on the history of werewolves and vampires, so you can ask me about that as well. Last but not least, I have a hobby interest in Western-European mythology and folklore.

French: Though "expert" is kind of an overstatement, I've studied it for seventeen years and love it so. I'm capable of providing translations to and fro as well as explaining grammatical concepts concerning both English and French. Marijuana culture and legislature: Working as a journalist, I've covered the evolution of marijuana policy for several years and find myself constantly surrounded in its culture. Weather: Though I have no formal training in meteorology, I've chased the rain my entire life and analyze southern California weather trends for syndicated news.
