This isn't exactly writing related but yesterday at 2:54 PM my sixth grandchild arrived three weeks early. His name is Samuel William Clark, weighed in at 7 pounds 6 ounces, and is 19" long. We, gladly, took a four hour detour on our return from a family gathering in North Carolina to see the newest addition to my family. He and his mother are doing well and I look forward to more experience with demonstrating my grandparenting philosophy. I told little Samuel to remember the words, "...but Grandpa lets me do it ..."
I had planned to write when I returned from our trip, but since we arrived at 11 PM and not 7:00 PM, I went to bed instead.

Congratulations, Dave. The kid has a great name.
How wonderful! Congrats, grandpa!
I'll be a story in your head. But that's OK:We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?
