Is your story where you need it to be? Theoretically, this should be the final third of the novel draft. If you want to get to The End you should be starting the final Act (if you're in a Three Act structure).
That's the theory at least. Me, I am barely into the second half of my novel :-/
Where are you? How is it going? Are you to the point of seeing how you get from here to The End?
I didn't do a whole lot of planning this year and I'm finding I've largely exhausted my hat full of ideas. I may go back and re-write other scenes to reach my word goal, or start writing on a different project.

If you need to refill your hat of ideas, just create a post, give us parameters and we'll help you. :-)
I think I'm starting to realize thatmy NaNo story's going to take quite a bit over 50k words to actually wrap up... Ah well. I'll just have to keep on pushing forward c:
I just hit 50,000 words! I'm so excited. I am officially halfway through my novel, finishing chapter 21 out of 42 today. This is the first time I ever reached the 50k word goal doing NaNoWriMo! I'm so incredibly proud of myself, but I know I got a long way to go.
I had a feeling from day one that my novel was going to be longer than 50k words. Prior to November 1st, I had a thorough brainstorm document mapping out chapter-by-chapter notes, character inspiration, and a synopsis. I couldn't resist making a couple changes here and there as I wrote, but who's draft really comes out exactly how you planned it to?
I have never brainstormed and had an outline before, so this has been a really eye-opening experience. Having an outline helps me resist editing while I write. I have things pretty much explained out already, so I don't have to keep jumping back to past chapters to make sure something makes sense. It's really refreshing, and now I'm a firm believer in outlining!!
Good luck to everyone!! I'm so excited to see how far we all come! :)
i've got almost 3.5k left in words...i will 100% finish by the end of the month...even finishing early...but...yesterday, today, and maybe tomorrow...thanksgiving and it's prep...so...i haven't written a single word since monday...BUT! I know i'll be a winner
I'll be a story in your head. But that's OK:We're all stories, in the end.Just make it a good one, eh?
So here we are, ten days to go.

I...am not near the third act at all. All my new scenes are a bit longer than I expected them to be.

Congratulations on making it past 50K! Don't forget to validate your win. :-)
Glad you're making such good progress due to your outline.

Early in the month I realized my fiction outline was flat-lining and was not going to go the distance.
It was quickly turning into a 50K word "editing train wreck", so I shifted gears and went the "NaNo Rebel" route by working on my non-fiction book.
If all goes well, tomorrow I will hit 50K words and will hopefully have the non-fiction book published by the end of the year. :-)
...okay, maybe Groundhog's Day.
...Valentine's Day at the latest.
...Easter? :-O
