It's time to celebrate your participation in National Novel Writing Month at the "Thank Goodness It's Over (TGIO) Pot-Luck Party". Note that you don't need to have completed 50K words to attend--this is a celebration of writing in November.
Bring your family and friends to celebrate with you. Bring a dish for the pot-luck. Bring a stuffed animal for the group photo op. And don't forget to bring your Library Crawl cards.
When and Where
The TGIO party will held on Saturday, December 10th from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm in the lunch room in the lower level of the Naperville Municipal Center (400 S. Eagle Street, Naperville, IL). You can park in the underground parking garage.
Library Crawl Raffle
Bring the library cards you received at any of the Library Crawl write-ins. Each card gets you a ticket for the special Library Crawl raffle. Click the Library Crawl link for more information. You must have your cards with you to get your raffle tickets. Be sure you've written your name on them.
Door Prizes and NaNo Awards
Even if you did not attend a Library Crawl write-in, you will be eligible for the door prize raffle. Also,Nano participants who RSVP will receive apersonalized NaNo certificate, suitable for inclusion in their hipster PDA (there will be some of these available too).

main course (always need lots of these)
vegetable side dishes
raw vegetables & dip
fruit salads
green salads
pasta or rice side dishes
rolls or bread

desserts - usually we have too many of these
cold soft drinks in cans
cold water in small bottles
plastic forks, knifes, spoons
good sturdy full-sized paper plates
sturdy small plates (for desserts)
napkins - don't need a huge pack, maybe something smaller and sturdier?

serving utensils for your dishes
stuffed animals (for the group photo)
your library crawl cards (each card gets you a raffle ticket)
musical instrument to accompany the singing of our regional song

We will be singing our regional song titled "Typing Away Again Near Dear Ol' Naperville" which is based on Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Bring an instrument if you would like to accompany.
