So the Illinois Statewide Write-in (Thread)is this Saturday from 11am to 2pm, and I'm going! In hopes of finding other Naperwrimos to travel with, I shall post the route I (aka Google Maps) planned to get there via train, bus, and healthy physical activity! (walking)
I'll depart from College Station in Wheaton at 8:57am and arrive at Ogilvie Transportation Center round 9:46am. Then I'll take bus 124 (from Canal & Madison) to Columbus & Illinois. From there it's a hop, skip, and a jump to the Inn of Chicago.
Bus 151 (from Michigan & Ohio) to Canal & Jackson. 6 minute walk north to Ogilvie. West line train leaves at 2:40pm.
If anyone plans on taking the same train out to Chicago I figure we could meet up on the train or at Ogilvie with people who took other trains there.
Let me know if you plan on taking a similar route and would like to meet up! :) I'd love to have a fellow Naperwrimo to travel with. (Public transportation makes me nervous haha)
