How many of you have filled out your novel's details for this year's NaNo?
Course, I know there are a few people who haven't committed to one idea over another, but I'd love to see what you guys are working on this year!
After years of SFF, I'm jumping to straight up mainstream romance this year but rather excited about it. Mainly because I'm highly anticipating destroyingthese girls' relationship. Whether I fix it is up in the air.
Illyana's life is turned upside down when agents of the powerful Collective find the tiny pocket universe where she and her sisters live with the woman they know as MotherRana. The agents mortally wound Mother Rana and take something critical from herworld before they depart. Now Illyana and her sisters mustrealize their powers and find a way to use Mother Rana's Ring to retrieve the magic periapt that the Collective have taken. The life of their world hangs in the balance.
I always struggle with how much info on my WIP to share. But here is what I am currently willing to share:
I am WarptotheStars
I am writing a fantasy novel named Ruby. It follows a heroine (currently named Ruby but subject to change) who is passionate about slaying monsters. In this novel she will face the greatest challenge she has known yet. She may not come out alive. (I do love killing characters)
I'm going to shoot for a stream of consciousness aggregation. Every day I sit down in November I will write a story of my life, and include lessons learned and a takeaway. If I get bored I'll organize into sections. When done I'll have it bound and hide it that my son can one day follow a set of clues to find it and learn about his father.
Third book in the series where teenagers, Jane from the present and Birdie from the past, exchange places with the help of their dream guardians, Buzzlord and Zenith, who are members of an ancient race of birdpeople called Avians.
Incredible historical events in and near a small Texas town during 1895 and1896 are part of Books 1 and 2. But the girls are in for even more shock and awe as they become part of the history unfolding when UFO sitings make front page news in 1897. True fact...it's like Roswell in the Old West!
