Bring your W flags and laptops, because the Cub Rally is coming tothe Lombard Library tonight. There will be a Cub cupcakes (Cubcakes, if you will), a giant Cub cookie and Cub prizes for Word War and Bag of Doom winners.

The write-in is from 4-7 tonight, followed by a one hour Writing Workshop with Visiting Writer Amanda Goldblatt.

The parking for the Helen Plum Library in Lombard (110 W. Maple St. Lombard, Illinois 60148) can be confusing. There is library park in what looks like the Elmhurst Hospital Immediate Care parking lot or what looks like the Lombard Historical Society parking lot.

I'd like to go, but I probably wouldn't be able to make it out there until 6:15 at the earliest. I'm tempted to just go to a nearby Starbucks instead, so I'll have time to get settled and write. The workshop does sound interesting, though, so I'm a bit torn.
