What are you planning to give up during November to free up more time for writing?
I will forgo my addiction to Chicago sports teams and not watch Blackhawks, Bulls, or Bears games in November. Seriously, there are no Bulls or Blackhawks game in November that are really that important. They can be missed, as canall Bears this season. Cub games in November - that's a different story. I won't miss any of those.
These forms need like buttons. I totally second this. And Netflix. No more Netflix for me. Or D&D nights. Or properly cooked dinners (hello~ crockpot). Or reading fanfic anywhere other than the Metra.
Is it going too far to say my sanity? Finals are next month and I have plenty of projects to do alongside writing a book, and I'm aware other people have full time jobs and children, so we all gotta be at least a little crazy to even consider doing this.
Wait, I have to give something up? You mean participating in Nano doesn't automatically add 3 extra hours to each day? Crap. This writing thing might be a problem...
this sounds like what happens in march/april when people ask "what will you give up for lent" XD and i never give anything up!
but i do agree with what was said. My sanity...my sleep. I haven't even BEGUN writing yet because being pregnant and having a busy week which means going to bed later than bed time then having to get u at 5:30am for work...i've been TOO cranky and exhausted to WANT to write...
i wish i could give up my menards office job....that would give me more time to write- OH NO WAIT!
i know what i need to give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
long gorgeous nails!!! pregnancy has meant that with all the hormones and the prenatal vitamins i take...my nails grow longer, stronger, and faster...and i LOVE having long gorgeous nails that i can file and paint....but...it makes it hard to type...or rather...type with out a typo every 3 words. (the delete button gets lots of use lately)
if i ever want to write my story with minimal frustration...it's time to go outside with a nail clipper T_T...WHICH I DON'T WANT TO DO BECAUSE I JUST PAINTED MY NAILS A GORGEOUS COLOR ANd GLITTER COMBO!
I'll be a story in your head. But that's OK:We're all stories, in the end.Just make it a good one, eh?
Okay, not really. But sadly, my writing just can't be the priority at all right now. I'm busy working on my master's degree. The good news is that this round of my classes ends halfway through the month. And there will be quite a few days sprinkled in the month when I won't have work because school (er, the school I work at, I mean) either has early dismissal or isn't in session at all. So I'm just chipping away a few words a day until I actually have some time to sit and write for real...

Quote and write either "QFT" or "+1." It's what we did back in the days before like buttons were a thing...

Gotta love it, though. -G

I tried to give up D&D but since I Dm for my brothers friends they just outright disagreed
Evil is not in the ends but in the means.
NaNoWriMo.
