This years kick-off will be October 29th from 11:45-2:45 It will be in the Naperville Municipal Center lunchroom in the lower level. I'm going to be there....in tow with my friend (i just mssged her to RSVP)...i am unsure what i will bring...I'll have to think of what's in my recipe book...unless i want to be a pregnant lazy mommy and just stop somewhere and get a party tray of sorts haha!
I'll be a story in your head. But that's OK:We're all stories, in the end.Just make it a good one, eh?
ok...ok!!! my pregnant food mind keeps wandering toward cucumber sandwiches.

Oops - I apologize - need to back out (with the fruit salad.) My sister and my kids aregoing into Chicago to look at Cubs displays on buildings, etc. This is such a rare opportunity that I feel I need to join them. ;)
Remember that early voting will be happening (in rooms A&B) during the kick-off party. Last time that happened, there were lines. (Most voters don't know about the lower-level parking, though.)
I would really like to come for a short time. We have company this weekend, so Bart won't be able to accompany me. I can probably bring something not time-dependent, like a cheese tray (cheese is either a snack or dessert, depending on where you're from).
So I have an emergency dental appointment for 10:45 tomorrow morning to recement something. I *SHOULD* be done in time to get there before people start lining up to eat, but there's a small chance I won't be, so it might be a good idea if someone else brought the knives, forks, and spoons instead.
