We are in the auditoriumof the Helen Plum Library in Lombard for a last day write-in. Join us for the last few hours of writing. The write-in goes until the library closes at 9pm.
Congrats to Becki (did I spell that right?) for winning the one and only word war of the Plum Library write-in. We didn't have word war prizes, so instead I wrote a quick song, set to the tune of the Modern Major General song. My only regret is that it doesn't rhyme. Still, perhaps others could use it in a pinch!
You are the latest winner of the recent write-ins war of words
Let us commemorate your prose thats most victorious
With song and dance we celebrate, th' accomplishment that you have made
So now we cheer and say huzzah to you the winner of the war!
Before last week, I'd never written 4000 words in a single day. Since I was kind of required to, I wrote 7894 today. I feel, however, that the scope of my novel requires at least another 30,000 words. Not tonight, though. Also, next year, I'm totally not going to fall behind. (This was also said last year.)

FYI, parking for the library is at the hospital just to the east of the library.
The auditorium is in the basement. Ed brought pizza from block pizza, including a dessert pizza.
