I've been building tension, slowly amping up the story to set up the big showdown between Uncle Jack and Maya but I am wondering when, days-of-the-month, I should aim for starting the showdown itself.

For those of you who are planning to finish your novel in November, when are you planning to make that final turn, to reach the point of no return when you begin your climactic scene?
