According tohttp://nanowrimo.org/calendarNovember 12th is ML appreciation day, but here in the Naperville region we appreciate our MLs every day. A big thank you to Tim, Frank and Sam for all you do. We appreciate it.
Thank you Tim, Frank and Sam! I have never gotten to thank any of you in person, but I want you to know that your hard work on our behalf is greatly appreciated.
And the graph. Thank you for the graph. And the e-mails. And all of the cool stuff that you do to make this an even more fun experience.
Thank you Tim, Frank, and Sam. You help make our Region one of the best. Because you rock, we rock. I am delighted I homed in on the Naperville Region.
In the chaos of not just writing your own novels, you corral us writers, almost as challenging and herding cats!
Many thanks, friends, for your kind words--they mean a lot to us. You are the reason why we do what we do (Dave and Katherine know! and I thank you two for your years of generous service as MLs and beyond); and your tremendous volunteer efforts make it an easier region to ML. I appreciate seeing many of you at the write-ins and prep workshops. It makes it all worthwhile.
Sarah (sarahk06), thanks for the Library Crawl--best thing to happen to our region!Catherine, many thanks for your Woodridge fun hostings; Carol, thanks for your write-ins. Sarah (anobi), thanks for all your Journey contributions this year. Katherine, thanks for all the continued advice and help and the all-day write-in.
Frank, Sam--you guys are great partners. Sam, you are making a big first year impact as an ML.Thanks to you both for all you do.
I wanted to tell Tim how very much I appreciate him. From my first year as a newbie ML and every year thereafter, Tim has been there to guide, instruct, assist, share with, and inspire me. He's been a blessing to not only me, but all of the MLs around the world.
Your region is really lucky to have such a kind, generous and inspiring ML and I just wanted to shout that out to the world.
Also - a big ML appreciation to Frank and Sam for all you do to help make NaNo fun for your region. You have an awesome team of MLs here!
There's a reason a bunch of us are with Naperville instead of Chicago...even ifthe Chiregion doesgather in some pretty cool places for their write-ins. (~_^)
We have better / easier parking, too! (If you've ever tried to park at the Nichols library, think to yourself, "This is GOOD compared to Chicago parking!")

Perhaps, but I usually prefer to take the train into the city. (~_^)
At least Nichols makes me go for a much needed walk after all that writing!
