Today is ML appreciation day.

Let's shout out to the three ML's who put so much time and energy in helping Naperville be one of the most exciting Regions in Nano Land.

Thank you Tim for you creativity and all the "goodies" you prepare each year. You're dedication and the 18k push are inspiration and motivating to me.

Thanky you Katherine for pushing me to write by writing and I enjoyed actually being ahead of you in the word count for half the month! <sigh> Those days have passed.

Thank you Frank for the comic relief you provide. You're a good fit with the ML team.

Now I'll go back to writing.

I'm gonna add my shout outs to our great MLs Katherine, Tim, and Frank. As a first-timer I really sweated if I could do this. The prep sessions and ML's sharing their experiences were instrumental in my finishing this daunting project. I've enjoyed meeting everyone. Thanks for your inspiration to a first-time WINNAH!! So fun. See everyone at the party :)

Sorry I'm late, but I appreciate you all. Thanks so much for this amazing experience. The event organization, the how-tos, the motivational aid...Naperville region has the best MLs by far!

I want to thank my Co-MLs. They work so hard and get so much done. I feel bad sometimes that I don't do more, but to be honest I don't know how they find time to do all that they do. Tim, you are so active in everything related to the region and the Journey it amazes me. Do you ever sleep? Katherine, how can you do this and still achieve such astronomical word counts? You guys are inspirational and I thank you.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and terrific suport. How appropriate it is as we approach Thanksgiving that I have so much to be thankful for:

• my wife and daughter, without whose heartfelt support I couldn't do this; my parents who encouraged me to read; and my older sister who introduced me to mythology, fantasy and science fiction
• two wonderful friends and co-Municipal Liaisons in Katherine (who makes every one of our parties run like clockwork and who came up with the brilliant all-day write-in this year) and Frank (who delivered a great prep workshop, helped a lot with the region publicity and pep talks) whom I appreciate a lot
• wonderful friends and volunteers from the Writing Journey who really help out in so many ways. Especially I want to thank Kaden (silverwolf42), Todd (writertodd07), Jen (jen.e.moore) and, as mentioned in point #1, Frank (fdahlman) for doing the regional prep workshops this year. And Catherine (Cee-Bee), Jez (typesetjez), Jen (Jen.e.Moore), Frank (fdahlman), and Kaden (silverwolf42) for hosting or co-hostingLibrary Crawl write-ins this year.
  
  
• Sarah (sarak06) from Carol Stream for her wonderful Library Crawl and all the work she did to coordinate the events, create the cards, etc.
• Our wonderful Library partners (especially Lisa West at the Naperville Public Library): Aurora (the Main branch and Eola Road branch), Batavia, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Geneva, Glen Ellyn, Helen Plum Library (Lombard), Indian Prairie (Darien), Naperville (Nichols Library and the 95th Street Library), Messenger Public Library (North Aurora), Warrenville, Wheaton, and Woodridge.
  
  
  
• Everyone who has been bringing treats to the write-ins to share, with a special shout-out to Ada (AdaVaughan) who brought us healthy treats, including the fantastic little cucumbers (so crunchy and refreshing, particularly with the hummus!). Ada also contributed two gift cards to the TGIO raffle!
• all of you! I have now been an ML through ten years in this region and I have to say that you gals and guys are the best wrimos anywhere bar none, including our distant members (Ky, Heather, Claire, Nelly). You are a joy to be an ML for; and I will add that I am very proud of our big come back in the OCGR inter-regional word war. Keep up the great work!
• and my fellow ML mentors, MLs and the wonderful NaNo staff
