Hey, I'm a college student without a car. Can we schedule some write-ins in the Wheaton area? That way I can either walk or ask an upperclassman for a ride, but no one wants to drive me 30 minutes away (that totals 2 hours of them driving for me), and some people are kinda nervous about loaning out their cars. I went to my first write in the other day in Carol Stream and had an awesome time, got so much done! But I was only able to go because my mom was in town for parents weekend and had a rental car, but now I'm stranded again. The Wheaton Public library is a really nice library for a library write-in, and there are some cute coffee shops in the downtown Wheaton area. Just a thought :)

Go ahead and pick a time and place and NaNomail me (or Tim) and we'll put it on the calendar. Then, make sure you have something indicating you're hosting a write-in for NaNo. Try to grab a few chairs near you so others can join you. You don't need anyone official to have a write-in. Just commit to being there for a couple of hours.
Some people also just decide on the day-of and do a 'last minute write-in' and put a post on the forum.
River City Roasters in downtown has a pretty large table in the back. Although they can get a little busy, but it could be a good spot if you scheduled it during their slower times.
