I need a terminally illness where the patient can live up to a year but not longer. Not cancer or HIV /Aids. Something else. Some thing that a young lady between the ages of 18 and 30 could get. This sick character is my main characters sister.

It's funny you said that - well, not funny, because this is what happened to my mom - she's still alive today - and I'm very glad and happy that I still have hear - but yes she does have so many health problems. My mom is 68 right now, she will be turning 69 this December. I hope that she's able to make it to her 80's 90's but we never know.
but I agree that Streptococcus is so dangerous is not treated.
