Hey all! Just wondering if anyone else is planning on staying up Friday night at starting at midnight? If so would you guys like to join me in the chatroom Tim set up?
I did. Along day of waiting (airline screwups) combined with a long drive meant I had half an hour to write before we arrived. And the hotel has wifi, so I updated last night. I used a bit of my sadness (we were driving to my mother's funeral) to write a letter from a character's dead mother, explaining a few things the mother had done wrong. Could be useful in the novel. (I was surprised how much I stayed in the character's head, and not in mine.)

I'm so excited! Just a couple days to go!
I should be writing at midnight! I want to get a least the first day's words in so I can get ahead over the weekend.
I'm not sure if I'll join chat right away (I like to kind of get the gears moving first), but I'll be making heavy use of it as the month goes on.
Not me!
I might. I'm a little too excited for this years nano. :)
Yes, I'll absolutely be writing at midnight! I'm usually awake at midnight on Fridays anyway, so why not ring in NaNo as soon as it begins? :D
Yay! If anyone wants to meet up in the chat room I will be there. Probably not for long but I have to get some words in. :)

I started at midnight and pounded out 913 words before zonking out after 3 am.
