We have a lot of write-ins at Libraries this year. (Yay!)

But some people really like a coffee shop atmosphere, so this is athread to post about them, and to check where the next ones are. Also check the google calendar at the top of this page.

Please try not to have a coffee-shop write-in at the same time as alibrary write-in, or another coffee shop write-in,unless the location isat least 10 miles away. (One year, we had simultaneous write-ins at Woodridge, Aurora, and Hoffman Estates.)

I scheduled a coffee shop write-in on Friday, November7, 9am 11am

at

Lavazza Espression, 2155 City Gate Ln, Naperville, IL 60563.

at the Southeast corner of Highway 59 and Ferry Road, entrance on Ferry Road. (59 is under construction, so try to avoid it.)

This is an Italian espresso place that is a little different style, which I thought might be fun to try. They have an 'Espesso' that is "the first coffee you can eat" as well as Italian hot chocolate, hot chai, and many other drinks.

Hope to see people there. (It's the first Friday of NaNo!)

If you're having trouble finding street parking at Lavazza or you hate parallel parking, you can use the parking garage behind the building. The street parking can be a bit limited depending on the time of day.

Oh my gosh, the drink choices are amazing. I'm having a Bicerin.

Heavy cream, espresso and rich italian chocolate. In layers!

Barry's cup of coffee was huge (and tasty--I had a sip.)

The chairs are a bit funky, but we're managing.
