I thought it might be fun to share the first song you listened to as you started this year's NaNo. You never know, it could be an omen if you didn't choose the song. Mine started from my Pandora "The Cars" channel.
First song -- Dangerous Type by The Cars
The title alone is a description of what it's going to be like to write this one!
Best wishes all.
Steve
Mine was 'Shattered (Turn the Car Around)' by O.A.R.
Interesting coincidence.
Good luck, and keep writing.
That is one of my favorite songs, Katherine.
Figment: Twist, the dive-bombing leopard gecko
Song for Bob, by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, from the soundtrack to "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford." It's a gorgeous song.

Started up my Pandora on the Classical station.
Quintet for piano, oboe, clarinet, horn & bassoon in E flat major, K. 452
... a mouthful. But there's something satisfying about writing a killer murdering someone to a good classical piece.
That, and rainymood. And a fireplace right there.
Ooooo, that's good!
Don't remember the actual song but he CD in my player was "When I'm With You" by JJ Heller. Now I'm listening to a mix through my Ipod.
