Hey, 2479 words tonight still beats my 2265! :-)
Nice job, Lisa!
Photos from the November 11th write-in at the 95th Street Library are now availabled (posted on our regional blog).
Just a quick reminder that we will be at the Nichols Library in downtown Naperville today. We will be giving out a NaNoBot as a prize to each of the top two wordcount writers of each of the word wars today (limit of one nanobot per participant of the write-in).
Don't forget to add yourself to the tracking spreadsheet when you arrive.
I'm looking forward to joining everyone at the Glen Ellyn Caribou tonight. I read you recently averaged 3100 words per person over three hours. Impressive stuff. I think my typing finger would have a blister.
See you this evening.
Tony
I'm really confused. I'm at the Caribou in Glen Ellyn. I tried looking through the threads and now am not sure if there is one here or anywhere tonight. The calendar said 5 pm here. Help! anthonytrendl@gmail.com
We had a productive Sunday afternoon. Participants who were present at the write-in include:

We averaged 3327.4 words across the three hours.
All in all, ten nanobots went home with their new writer buddies (pictures available)
It looks like the spreadsheet got changed or something. I updated my ending word count to 50031 before I left, but it's no longer reflected in the actual spreadsheet.
Oops! Fixed (sorry about that!).
Congrats for passing the 50K mark, Joe!
Big congratulations to Sara (Sarastirsyou) for winning the first nanobot of the write-in; and to Jez (TypesetJez) for winning the nanoborg:

We had thirteen people (twelve wrimos) present today averaging 3611 words in the write-in:
Both Lisa (TogetherAgain) and Joe (Corrupted Flame) wrote by hand, with Lisa achieving 1005 words in a 37 minute word war!
