Start 2013 with Writing on Jan 1st?

Is anyone interested in getting together on Jan. 1st around 1:00 pm at a Caribou to do some writing, or editing, or just talking about writing plans for 2013?

That sounds great! Naperville works best for me also. I have friend who is interested in coming as well who joined me at this Sunday's Caribou write-in who is not yet on the Journey website.

I'll update the first post with who is coming (I received a couple of emails from people as well.)

I'm going to guess that I won't be there, but I can't guarantee that.

In other news, if anyone is interested pretty much every Sunday afternoon I write in downtown Geneva at Graham's 318. I get there a little after 12 and usually stay until 5 (or later if I decide to do so).
(And I'm there right now!)

You can often find me here on the weekends. There aren't a vast amount of plugs, but it's a great environment, in my opinion. And they have tasty pastries and gelato and things. Yup.

As far as Caribou, I think Becky already chimed in for us with some response or another. May or may not be there. No idea yet.

We did an exercise where we wrote about a perfect day involving writing. Martha's was very poetic.
I discovered that I really like to write, do something else, write, do something, write--rather than just write and write and write.

plays, movies, finishing a novel -- several people are near the end, but still have X chapters left to do.

We also played SpaceFlux.
Fun times.
