May I also partake in the Journey fun? I was inactive last year but plan to make it work with this year's different schedule.
I'm interested in all paths! (Except the art- though I'd love to look at pieces and oo and ah, I'm not sure I'm one of great artistic talent). I just really need to brush the dust off the writer self, maybe edit my hibernating novel, but in general, get some work out there!
I'm in. Social and going to try to polish something.
Tim, I'll join the Journey, but there's something up with access to the wikki. I go to fill out the survey and it asks for my user name and password.
Dave
Thanks, Dave.
I'm puzzled by the survey requesting name and password--I see it too, but I can't tell why it is popping up.
Fortunately, all you need to do is cancel out of that until it goes away; then you can fill out the survey.
I'll keep debugging.
Note: I just sent out the introductory mail to all participants who have filled out the survey. If you did not receive this e-mail, let me know and we'll work things out.
I want to be in the Journey again this year.
Hi,
I wasn't active much over the past year, but I would like to rectify that this coming year - my goal is to complete one of my many UFOs and get to the point where I could query :D
I'm definitely in. Editing, art, photography, and meeting interesting new people.
I filled out the Survey and have been getting the Emails but I'm not on the list.

Sorry about that! Fixed.

Thank you.

I am very excited at the prospect of finding and joining such a dedicate writing group...here is my story...
I have been trying to start a writing group in Naperville Aurora for the last year or so since I have had some moderate success with my Boardgame group in Bolingbrook.
I live in Westmont, IL and I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago and I have a degree in Fiction Writing. I have been struggling for the past few years to find some community support and get serious about getting my writing out of my computer and into the hands of some publishers.
I attempted and failed to write several novels by this point and I just need to get serious. I want to do this November and I would love a monthly meetup with some parameters like mentioned above.
Here is hoping to see you all this upcoming Saturday,
Gina Charlton

I have no idea how to upload a photo. I looked all on the site and couldn't figure it out...:(

Gina,
Welcome! I'll send you separate NaNoMail so we can get you set up with the Journey.
See you Saturday! Frank (fdahlman) will be leading a workshop at the meeting then to help folks add tension (physical and emotional) to their stories. Be sure to bring your own lunch. 11:30 AM-3 PM, Naperville Municipal Center, rooms BC.
Cheers,

Hi, I've been pretty bad about beating NaNo the last few years, but I'd love to join this writing group and (hopefully) get back on the right track. Thank you!

Hi, April,
I sent you nanomail; hope to hear from you soon (and possibly see you at the 13 April 2013 Journey meeting (11:30 AM-3 PM, rooms BC in the Naperville Municipal Center).
