Books about writing
Hey everyone, I'm new to this group and junk so lots of you don't know me. I'm Kat, this was my first year doing NaNo, and I was at the TGIO party (In case you saw, Katherine stole some of Squiddish's plot critters and gave them to Allie and I to write about it. Now half of you probably know who I am xD)
SO, now that we got introductions out of the way, I've been looking for some good writing books to read. I haven't read any of them so go ahead and start throwing book titles at me. I also read anything online so go ahead and throw links too! I didn't know if you guys already had a thread for this, but I after page 3 it seemed like too much effort to look through everything. xD
Well, I'll start I read this one online:
http://www.how-to-write-a-book-now.com/plot-outline.html
Its not just this one section, there's a link at the bottom of the page and it goes on for like 3-4 more sections on creating characters and such, which I found extremely helpful.
Splatter paint time! Start throwing those blue links and book titles on the thread!
~Kat
Re: Books about writing
Hey Kat - there are several posted in this link http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/usa-illinois-naperville/threads/47491 and they are largely free (or were at one time). We have a writing book discussion thread here http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/usa-illinois-naperville/threads/47758
You may want to join the Journey - if so, nanomail Tim (newmexicokid) for an account. Glad to have you aboard!
Re: Books about writing
