Re: A Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
BAM. CATCH UP = PLAYED. CRITTER = WON. (AND, NOT INCLUDED IN MY WORD COUNT, COLLEGES = APPLIED TO.)
Just gonna go continue to party it up at not even 12:30 on a school night like the totally cool kid I am. :P
Re: A Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
WHOO~! I'LL PARTY WITH YOU. And also conveniently forget that I have to get up at six am and need lots of sleep to properly function.
Re: A Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
What's sleep? I'm up just before then and YEAH NO TOO BAD BECAUSE PAAAAAARTY (I say as I lie in bed in the dark. :P)
Re: A Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words

Tim, what a wonderful motivational tool! How neat you helped so many of us reach that final push with a flourish.
Now - get that glue gun ready!
See you Saturday!
Re: A Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I did not complete the Challenge, not even close really, made it just over halfway. I still consider it a success so thanks Tim for putting it out there. It kept me writing every day.
The previous three years I have done NaNo I have finished my story and 50K before Thanksgiving and then stopped. This year my main goal was to develop a daily writting habit that I could fit into my schedule. I managed to write every day this month for an hour a day, first thing after the kids were in bed, then dealt with the rest of life after that.
I have been thinking about my first NaNo novel from 4 years ago, the one that was in my head for 20 years before I took the plunge. I have never taken it past that rough NaNo draft and I am finally ready to do that. I'm looking forward to starting that tonight after the kids go to bed.
Thanks again for everything.

Hmmm... I think I need a sparkly kitteh to go with my bunneh herd. And I could never say no to a dragon!
Re: Updated 12/3: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I don't see mine on the updated list, so I'm going to assume the comment got lost somewhere in the middle, but if at all possible could I get a butterfly? I have a slight obsession. If you can't make that, a lion would be great, because I really liked the one you made last time.
Re: Updated 12/3: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
Oops, yes I remember seeing your comment (and it did get lost). I've updated the record and I will try to make a butterfly for you. :-)
Re: Updated 12/3: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I would like a plot fairy. :D I love fairies, so that would be awesome. If that doesn't work out, maybe your take on a plot spider to keep William Shatner-spider company.

Could I get a dragon as well? :D
Re: Updated 12/10 1:25 PM: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words

Re: Updated 12/22: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I would love a plot puppy. If you want to get more specific, either a schnauzer or a shar pei.
Thanks!
Re: Updated 1/10: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I'll be in St. Louis this weekend, so don't worry about bringing mine to the kick-off party. We'll have to find some other way to deliver it before I move (when? I'm not sure, exactly).
Re: Updated 1/10: Challenge and a Plot Critter Bounty for 18K words
I'll be there tomorrow.
