Ok, challengers! If all of you currently signed up make it, I will craft you 18 (well, 20 including Sarah's ;-) ) plot critters!! I've made a faces page with some enhancements specifically for all of you to track your challenge progress.

I can see your novel page http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/writerpete/novels/final-anthropic but I can't get to your profile page. You shouldn't need to put a lot of info in there, but you need to have something defined or my tool can't "see" you.

Here is the 11/26/2011 current snapshot:
Lots of folks haven't even started on the challenge. Kudos to Squiddish for the rapid start (already at 77% of goal!) and to Kirsten for making it into the white (40% of goal). Many folks are making good progress!
And yes, Thing 2, you can also win multiple critters for multiples of 18K words!

This is a sneaky way to give me the experience of being in the red. It is really hard to write with a new cat who doesn't understand keyboards wanting a lot of attention.

My word count yesterday (before going to Caribou at around 3PM) was 28888, so if I can use that total I'm in.

I would need to be at 148,165 to add 18k words from the date you issued the challenge it will be a stretch for me to add another 12,443 words by 11:59 PM November 30, but I will try my best to reach that goal!

Tim, you mentioned earlier today that we could use our word counts from yesterday morning, but I'll just use the count from this morning before the write-in, which was 41,326. So I'll need to be at 59,326 by Wednesday night.

I dunno ... only two days left. Wish I had seen this BEFORE this weekend where I went from 52,580 to 61,880 . Well, what the heck. I'm in. Every little bit helps with that Maryland challenge!

Thank you! And thanks for motivating me to keep writing after I hit the 50k mark. This was about staying in the habit of writing and that doesn't work too well if I stop partway through the story.
If at all possible, could I get a bufferfly? I'm not sure if you'd be able to make one, but if you can't, then a lion please. I really liked the one you made before (that I think Squiddish ended up with?).

I had 9,000 still to go at 6pm... and as most of my write-in buddies can tell you, I wasn't intense until later. xD If I had started sooner I would haev gotten it.
