Our Year-Round Writing Group: the Journey! (Updated 4 January 2012)

YES! More Journey please.
I learned so much last year, and I owe a lot of it to the great group of writers in the Journey. My personal challenge is to post more of my work, and I hope that the Journey will be one avenue to do that.

I always love to seeing what people are up to with their writing, and I'm thrilled to see so many new faces interested in this!

I would love to join! I have 3 little kids, work part time, and my husband is a fireman so I'm not sure how many of the meeting I'll be able to escape for but would love to have a group to turn to.

Tim - I would like to participate again this year. A few thoughts.

My writing focus this year will be on editing and re-writing one of my previous NaNo Novels but not sure how that fits in the group. However, I like the support and encouragment I get from the group even if there is not a project I can committ to and even though my ability to make events is limited. I like participating in the jabber sessions when I can but scheduling is always a challenge since I really can't do much until after the kids are in bed around 8:30.

Okay, I didn't win nano but I had fun. I'd love to learn more about this writing thing.

I am interested. I have not and do not plan on writing a full novel, but maybe a short memoir and also volume of poetry. I really need a local writing community and I have heard great things about this group!

I'm in! (Though some you might already have figured I was, since I was addicted to it this past year.) Won't be able to come to the first meeting if it's on January 21, but otherwise I am so there!
