Downers Grove Caribou Write-Ins

I'll probably be snuggled up at Caribou tonight after 6pm, if anyone else wants to stop by. I know we don't have anything scheduled, but I want to get out of the apartment and get some writing done.

I might stop by there Saturday after the Woodridge write-in. I'm gonna miss around half of the write in so it's a good opportunity for catchup.

A bit worried about finding a seat by an outlet there on a Saturday, though...

Rumor has it that there will be two prizes to be given away to word war champions at the Caribou meetup tomorrow. ;)

What are they? Well, that would be spoiling the fun...

I will probably be there tonight. :) Probably. Depends on how much I start freaking out about this paper with the same deadline as my NaNo. :< But it would be nice to work on something other than schoolwork again...

I'll be there tonight (definitely need some incentive to write rather than fiddle with buddy word count graphs (getting oh so close to making these work)). I might bring a plot critter or two to contribute to the prizes.

It's the last Tuesday Caribou to write before the big Three-Oh, so let's make this big!

I may or may not have one more Word Warrior to give away during a word war. ;)

So for any who are interested, Paula (catatone1) and I were talking about continuing to have our Tuesday write-ins on a bimonthly basis at the Caribou in downtown Downers Grove. If anyone is interested in weekly, we could do that too on the stipulation that we might not always have everyone there. So for those who are interested, feel free to post dates that you would like to do this. I'm available pretty much whenever, so just post dates, and I'll be there at least. Also Becky (Sapphire) says she'll probably be there too.

I would totally love to keep meeting up on a regular basis, though after January 17th I'll have classes on Tuesday nights. So I can keep coming until mid-January at least. :)

Joe says he's going to be at Caribou tomorrow; I'll be following suit after I get off of work. :)

I think I might bring a book of writing prompts that I have as a just in case sort of thing. I'm sure something could be worked out date/time-wise to be sure as many people as possible can make it. :)

Are we still meeting? I missed out last week due to illness on my part.

Okay. Hopefully (read: if I can avoid deadlocked traffic and hubby aggro) I will be there next week.

By the way, for anyone who's interested, we are moving the write-ins from Tuesdays at 6:30 to Sundays at 5:30.
